Movie News! AKA: Viola Davis, you are living the YA book nerd dream.

Rumor has it Viola Davis (of The Help and It’s Kind of a Funny Story, among many other things) has scored roles in two, yes TWO, YA book-to-movie adaptations.

Davis will play a military psychologist in the adaptation of Ender’s Game, based on Orson Scott Card’s novel of the same title, which is tentatively set for release in March of 2013. She has also been cast to play Amma in Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl’s Beautiful Creatures. YOU GO GIRL!

That means those are just two more books I’m going to have to add to my ever growing TBR pile (is 2 feet too tall?). The bright side? I have a loooooong while before those movies even come close to being released. So we’ll all have plenty of time to catch up for those of us who need refereshers or never read them.
